Editorial policy

The rules for how we write, check and correct what you read here.

Last updated 13 October 2026

Content is based on sources

Factual information in our guides is based on public sources or on the banks’ own information. Each article shows what it applies to, which sources were used and when it was last checked. If we cannot check the content against sources, the article says so.

Prices are shown with a source and a date

Specific interest rates, fees and terms are shown only with a source and a check date. Worked examples that use figures which are not real bank prices are clearly marked as examples, and the assumptions are stated.

Editorial and commercial are kept apart

  • Commercial cooperation is clearly labelled.
  • A cooperation cannot buy a better editorial assessment or a higher position in an objective product ranking.
  • Outgoing links to providers go through a shared page, and paid links are marked as sponsored. See how we earn money.
  • Sorting, filtering and assessments do not read commercial data.
  • We do not name a single overall “best bank”. What is best depends on your needs.

Not advice

Our content is general information, not financial advice. For a specific decision, you should get a quote from the bank or speak to an independent adviser.

Corrections

If we or you find an error, we correct it and update the article’s check date. Write to kontakt@gratisbank.dk.
